Risk Management
Risk management and loss control activities are provided for each member. The goal is to reduce claims frequency and severity. Seminars on specific risk management topics are also offered to all members.

The Risk Management Consultant acts as the bridge between Diploma JIF and the individual member. The RMC coordinates risk management activities and analyzes loss exposures. The RMC also coordinates claims and administrative matters for the member.

Employee Training Management Tools
Diploma JIF members have access to the on-line Learning Management System that customizes each employee’s curriculum based on the specific PEOSHA requirements for that employee’s job responsibilities.

Helpline
Diploma JIF members that purchase School Leaders’ Professional Liability coverage have access to the Helpline Services website and its employment law attorneys for answers to specific human resource and employment law questions as well as the ability to download HR articles, checklists and regulatory updates via the web.

Diploma JIF’s innovative risk management and loss control programs provide members with tools and insights from professionals, resulting in a safer environment for students and staff. Loss prevention and loss reduction result in reduced costs for members.
PEOSHA Required Employee Training
Diploma JIF offers training programs to meet PEOSHA requirements. This training is conducted by the MEL Safety Institute (MSI).

Diploma members have access to the MEL Safety Institute, which provides government required training sessions, workshops and seminars. Over 1,200 different classes are regularly scheduled throughout the state. Site-specific classes can be set up at the member's own venue
